Bushings
A Technic bushing is a small cylindrical element with a cross
hole in the center. When placed on a cross axle it acts to limit the lateral
movement of the axle, acting as a stop bush. The 1/2 bushing, introduced in
1981 included teeth on one face, allowing it to fit with the other toothed
elements. As the toothed system of elements was phased out a smooth-faced
version was introduced. |
