Threaded Cross Axles
A Threaded Cross Axle is a standard cross axle with a thread cut
the length of the axle. The threaded axles, along with the nut, could withstand
much greater force than a typical axle/bushing. They were used primarily
to clamp structures together, such as assemblies on a turntable. |
